LG uses the CELLO technology for its new module NeON™ 2. With the CELLO technology 3 collecting bars are replaced by 12 thin wires, thus improving power output and reliability. LG NeON™ 2 demonstrates LG's efforts to increase the customer benefit even beyond the efficiency. It offers extended warranty, durability and performance under real-world conditions, as well as an attractive design suitable for roofs.

Higher performance, higher yield
With the knowledge gained from semiconductor technology, a more uniform cell surface is achieved, thus increasing the efficiency to over 21%. The module can use incident light equally from the front and back of the cell, allowing LG NeON™ 2 cells to work more efficiently than conventional solar cells and produce a higher yield.
Extended performance guarantee
LG NeON™ 2 has an extended performance guarantee. Annual degradation has been reduced from -0.6% per year to -0.5% per year. Even after 25 years, the cell is guaranteed to produce 1.2% more output power than the previous LG NeON™ 2 modules.
High power output
Compared to the previous models, the efficiency has been considerably increased during the development of LG NeON™ 2. Therefore it is particularly suitable for the utilization of limited space
During the development of LG NeON™ 2, attention was also paid to aesthetics. The thinner collection wires appear completely black from a distance. The product can increase the value of a building thanks to its modern design.
Due to the new reinforced frame construction, LG has extended the warranty for NeON™ 2 by 10 more years to 25 years. In addition, LG NeON™ 2 modules can withstand pressure of up to 6,000Pa and suction of up to 5,400Pa.

Thanks to the improved temperature coefficient, the performance of LG NeON™ 2 is better on sunny days.
Double-sided cell structur
In the cells used in LG NeON™ 2 modules, the front side and the back side contribute to the power generation. The light beam reflected on the back of the cells is absorbed there and provides additional power
